C1 Competencias

The student is expected to be able to understand speech that concerns subjects outside their own field, including abstract and complex topics; includes colloquial language; is not clearly structured.

The student can read and understand in detail lengthy, complex texts whether or not they relate to their own area of speciality, provided they can reread difficult sections.

The student can express themselves fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly. There is little obvious searching for expressions or avoidance strategies; only a conceptually difficult subject can hinder a natural, smooth flow of language.

The learner can give clear, detailed descriptions and presentations on complex subjects.
In writing, the student can express themselves with clarity and precision.
